TransJakarta Corridor 13 Elevated Road Full of Potholes, Commuters Call for Urgent Repairs

The elevated road, or so-called “sky route”, of TransJakarta Corridor 13 remains riddled with potholes at numerous points. Passengers are calling for the road to be repaired promptly.

Observations by detikcom at the location on Monday afternoon (23/2/2026) revealed several potholes along the Corridor 13 elevated route. The holes begin to appear on the incline after Tegal Mampang Stop.

The potholes vary in size, ranging from small to large. They become increasingly frequent as buses pass between Rawa Barat Stop and CSW Stop. Many of the holes are quite deep and filled with puddles of rainwater.

The abundance of potholes along the elevated route forces buses to slow down considerably. In addition, buses frequently cross into the opposing lane to avoid the damaged sections.

Some of the potholes have already been patched with asphalt. However, a number of these patches remain uneven, and some have even broken open again.

A passenger named Ricky (34) said the potholes make for an uncomfortable journey, with the bus shaking as it passes over them.

“The upper route really does have quite a lot of potholes. It makes the ride rather shaky for passengers,” Ricky told reporters.

Ricky expressed hope that the potholes on the elevated route would be repaired as soon as possible.

“Hopefully they can fix it soon,” he said.

Another passenger, Adam (27), also called for swift repairs to the pothole-ridden elevated road. He expressed hope that permanent fixes would be carried out.

“I hope the road can be fixed. The potholes need to be filled, but even the patches tend to break open again. I hope the repairs can be permanent this time. If the road is in good condition, it makes things much better for both drivers and passengers,” he said.
