JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has recorded a positive trend in the SH2 route service (Blok M – Soekarno-Hatta Airport) during the Lebaran holiday and return flow period in 2026. The opening of this route is a strategic initiative from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to provide convenience for the public in travelling from and to the heart of Jakarta via Blok M Terminal, up to direct access to Soekarno-Hatta Airport. Based on operational data for the period from 13 March to 25 March 2026, the total number of passengers utilising the SH2 route reached 18,943 people. Transjakarta’s President Director, Welfizon Yuza, stated that this achievement reflects the success of the DKI Provincial Government’s steps in integrating residents’ mobility. “The SH2 route service is a tangible manifestation of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government’s commitment to facilitating public travel from the city centre directly to our international air gateway. We greatly appreciate the trust of customers who choose this route during the Lebaran season,” he said, quoted from an official statement, Friday (27/3/2026). Transjakarta will optimise facilities at the main stopping points, both at Soekarno-Hatta Airport Terminal and Blok M Terminal. Furthermore, to assist customers carrying a lot of luggage, the fleet on this route will be equipped with more capable luggage racks. In addition, Transjakarta will synchronise bus departure schedules with flight schedules at Soekarno-Hatta Airport to ensure punctuality for customers.
