Transjakarta Adjusts Operating Hours to 9am for Idul Adha
PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has adjusted its operating hours for Idul Adha, with bus services commencing at 9am. “Transjakarta continues to strive to provide adaptive public transport services that meet public needs. This operational adjustment for Idul Adha ensures services run smoothly while allowing staff to perform religious duties,” said Ayu Wardhani, Head of Public Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility at PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta), on Tuesday (26 May 2026). The adjusted operating hours apply to all Transjakarta services, including BRT corridors, non-BRT routes, and Mikrotrans. Services, which normally start at 5am, will now commence at 9am on the day of the holiday. Ayu stated the schedule change allows staff to attend the Idul Adha prayers. She added the policy balances passenger mobility needs with supporting religious observances for frontline staff. Transjakarta confirmed services will operate optimally from 9am onwards and urged passengers to adjust travel times and plan journeys earlier during the adjustment period.
