Transjakarta Adjusts Corridor 13 Route After Truck Hits Pedestrian Bridge

Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) is implementing route adjustments and operational pattern changes on Corridor 13 (Ciledug–Tegal Mampang) starting Tuesday afternoon (14/7).

The step was taken by Transjakarta to anticipate the impact of severe congestion around the location where a pedestrian footbridge (JPO) on Jalan Bangka (towards Blok M), South Jakarta, was struck by a lorry.

“The incident involving the footbridge struck by a lorry on Jalan Bangka has resulted in severe congestion along that route. Therefore, taking into account conditions on the ground and in the interest of passenger comfort and safety, Transjakarta is promptly implementing operational pattern changes,” said Ayu Wardhani, Head of Transjakarta’s Public Relations and CSR Department, in Jakarta on Tuesday.

The company also extended its sincere apologies to all Transjakarta users for the travel disruption experienced on Tuesday afternoon.

Corridor 13 (CBD Ciledug–Tegal Mampang)

The route has been shortened. Services from CBD Ciledug to Rawa Barat Stop continue to operate normally. After dropping passengers at Rawa Barat Stop, buses will turn around and head back towards CBD Ciledug.

Routes L13E and 13B

These routes are temporarily not serving Tegal Mampang Stop.

Routes 4K, P11, 6V, and 7B

Passengers travelling on these routes can transfer buses at Rawa Barat Stop.

Routes 5N and 6U

These routes are temporarily not serving Tegal Mampang Stop.
