Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has made route adjustments and operational changes for Corridor 13 (Ciledung-Tegal Mampang) starting Tuesday afternoon. The measure was taken to anticipate the severe traffic congestion caused by a pedestrian bridge (JPO) being struck by a truck on Jalan Bangka (towards Blok M), South Jakarta. “The incident of the JPO being hit by a truck on Jalan Bangka has caused severe traffic congestion in the area. Therefore, by considering the conditions on the ground and to maintain the comfort and safety of customers, Transjakarta immediately implemented operational engineering,” said Transjakarta Head of Public Relations and CSR Department Ayu Wardhani in Jakarta on Tuesday. She also offered her sincerest apologies to all Transjakarta customers for the travel disruptions experienced this afternoon. For Corridor 13 (CBD Ciledug-Tegal Mampang), the route has been shortened. Services from CBD Ciledug to Rawa Barat Bus Stop are operating normally. After dropping off customers at Rawa Barat Bus Stop, buses will turn around and head back towards CBD Ciledug. Routes L13E and 13B are temporarily not serving Tegal Mampang Bus Stop. Customers heading to routes 4K, P11, 6V, and 7B can transfer at Rawa Barat Bus Stop. Routes 5N and 6U are temporarily not serving Tegal Mampang Bus Stop. Transjakarta urges all customers to anticipate travel time. To receive regular updates on the current situation, customers are directed to always check operational information through Transjakarta’s official social media and use the TJ:Transjakarta application.
