Transjakarta Adjusts Bus Operating Hours for Idul Adha Holiday

The public planning to use Transjakarta services during the Idul Adha 1447 Hijriyah holiday should note the adjusted operating hours.

On Wednesday, 27 May 2026, regular Transjakarta services will start later than usual.

The adjustment is to allow staff to perform the Idul Adha prayers while ensuring public transport remains available.

Ayu Wardhani, Head of Public Relations and CSR at PT Transportasi Jakarta, stated that the usual 5:00 AM WIB start time will now begin at 9:00 AM WIB.

The change applies to all Transjakarta services, including BRT corridors, Non-BRT routes, and Mikrotrans.

‘Transjakarta continues to strive for public transport services that adapt to public needs,’ Ayu said in a written statement dated 26 May 2026.

According to Ayu, the policy supports the observance of Idul Adha without compromising the commitment to providing safe, comfortable, and reliable transport.

Passengers are advised to adjust their travel schedules during the operational adjustment period.
