Transjakarta Academy to Send 20 Best Attendants to Japan
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) is currently preparing 20 of its best attendants for dispatch to Japan. “Transjakarta Academy is currently preparing 20 of our best Transjakarta attendants, who will be placed for an exchange in Japan,” said Transjakarta President Director Welfizon Yuza in Central Jakarta on Friday. According to him, the dispatch to Japan aims for the attendants to gain new knowledge and standards that can be applied in Indonesia. Not only that, the dispatch can also serve as motivation for attendants that their profession is not merely that of a driver, but also has a good future. “So that they will have new standards brought back to Indonesia and also build dreams that the attendant profession at Transjakarta has a future and also has broader opportunities,” Welfizon explained. As is known, Transjakarta Academy is an official vocational training institution (LPK) established by PT Transportasi Jakarta to educate, train, and enhance the competency of attendants and staff in order to create safe, comfortable, and professional public transportation services. In addition to technical skills, the academy also teaches soft skills, including effective communication, stress management, and driving ethics. Transjakarta Academy instructors come from experienced practitioners, including traffic safety experts and transportation psychologists. Each participant will receive a competency certificate recognised by the Ministry of Transportation, which can open up broader career opportunities. Through the academy, Transjakarta drivers are expected to improve their competency quality so that services to users also become increasingly better.
