Transjabodetabek PIK 2-Blok M service extended until midnight for Java Jazz Festival 2026
JAKARTA — PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has extended the operational hours of the Transjabodetabek T31 PIK 2-Blok M route during the Java Jazz Festival 2026 from 29 to 31 May.
The policy aims to support mobility for international music festival attendees, particularly during late-night return trips.
Ayu Wardhani, Head of Public Relations and CSR at PT Transportasi Jakarta, said the T31 route’s usual 10pm closing time would be extended until midnight.
“The T31 PIK 2-Blok M service, which previously operated from 5am to 10pm, has been extended to run from 5am to midnight,” Ayu said in Jakarta on Friday, 29 May 2026.
“This extension is to support customer mobility needs, particularly for those attending one of Jakarta’s largest international music events,” she added.
She also stated that Transjakarta continues to provide responsive transport services to meet public needs, especially during large-scale events.
Transjakarta also urged the public to use public transport to and from the festival venue to reduce private vehicle congestion.
The annual music festival will feature international artists including Wave to Earth, Daniel Caesar, and Ella Mai.
Indonesian artists such as Yovie Widianto, Mahalini, Ruth Sahanaya, and RAN are also scheduled to perform.
