Transjabodetabek Passengers Rise, UI-Lebak Bulus Route Becomes the Favourite
JAKARTA — PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has recorded an increase in passengers on the Transjabodetabek service during April 2026. Of the 18 routes in operation, the D21 corridor Universitas Indonesia (UI)–Lebak Bulus registered the highest number of customers, with 315,768 passengers. ‘The Transjabodetabek ridership for April 2026 shows that the D21 Universitas Indonesia–Lebak Bulus route recorded 315,768 passengers,’ said Ayu Wardhani, Head of Public Relations and CSR at Transjakarta, in an official statement on Friday, 22 May 2026. The figure was up from 245,867 passengers in March 2026. The second-highest route was P11 Bogor–Blok M with 249,580 passengers. Next came the T11 Poris Plawad–Petamburan route with 244,143 passengers and the S21 Ciputat–CSW route with 231,978 passengers. Meanwhile, the T31 PIK 2–Blok M route, which had been the subject of much discussion, recorded 126,869 passengers in April 2026, placing it ninth among the total Transjabodetabek routes in operation. The top five routes by passenger numbers in April 2026 were D21 UI–Lebak Bulus, P11 Bogor–Blok M, T11 Poris Plawad–Petamburan, S21 Ciputat–CSW, and S22 Ciputat–Kampung Rambutan, with 179,894 passengers. In addition to D21 UI–Lebak Bulus, the P11 Bogor–Blok M route also rose from 211,634 passengers in March to 249,580 in April 2026. On the other hand, the route with the fewest passengers in April 2026 was B25 Bekasi–Dukuh Atas with 44,511 passengers, followed by SH2 Blok M–Bandara Soekarno–Hatta with 45,113 passengers.
