TransJabodetabek Bus Fare to Soekarno-Hatta Airport Only IDR 2,000; Note the Times

A TransJabodetabek bus journey from Blok M, South Jakarta, to Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Tangerang, Banten now costs only IDR 2,000.

The TransJabodetabek SH2 Blok M-Soekarno-Hatta Airport fare of IDR 2,000 applies exclusively to passengers using the service before 07:00 WIB, consistent with other TransJakarta routes.

The bus operates daily from 05:00 to 22:00 WIB. From 07:00 WIB onwards, a standard fare of IDR 3,500 per passenger is charged.

The bus fare is expected to increase further in future, taking into account the length of the route and operational costs borne by the government, estimated at between IDR 10,000 and IDR 15,000.

“Regarding the question of why the range is between IDR 10,000 and IDR 15,000, there are various costs that must be covered,” said Pramono during the bus inauguration at Blok M Terminal in South Jakarta on Thursday, 12 March 2026.

The Blok M-Soekarno-Hatta Airport route operates Metrotrans buses featuring a low-entry design, facilitating passenger boarding and alighting. The buses are also equipped with luggage storage compartments to assist passengers travelling with baggage.

However, journey duration depends on traffic conditions. During peak hours (rush hour), travel time may be significantly longer.
