Transjabodetabek Bubulak-Bogor to Jakarta Route Under Review
Bogor - The Mayor of Bogor, Dedie A Rachim, stated that the Transjabodetabek route from Bubulak to Jakarta is currently in the discussion phase.
The plan to add this route was directly conveyed to Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo on Monday (4/5/2026).
According to him, the study is to ensure adequate budget and subsidies for the route addition.
“There is indeed a need, so the Bubulak-Jakarta route is being studied and we want to confirm if the subsidy budget is sufficient. Insha’Allah, if possible,” said Dedie in Batutulis, Bogor City, on Thursday (7/5/2026).
According to him, Pramono approved the Transjabodetabek route as an alternative public transport option.
This is because the public can use public transport and reduce travel by private vehicles.
“So you can take the bus on schedule, it’s fine, even until 23:00 WIB if you’re heading home at 20:00 WIB, you’ll definitely get a ride. Because if taking the KRL, it’s already heavy, can’t add more because the headway or distance between trains is only 4 minutes left,” he added.
Previously, the Bogor City Government (Pemkot) proposed adding routes and fleets of Transjabodetabek for residents wanting to go to Jakarta.
The Head of the Bogor City Transportation Department (Dishub), Sujatmiko Baliarto, explained that the government has proposed additions from Ciawi-Jakarta and Bubulak-Jakarta.
The proposal to add Transjakarta buses was submitted to the relevant parties since February 2026.
“For TJ, we have actually proposed it. Proposed to add, increase the frequency, also add from Ciawi, from Bubulak also add. Already proposed,” Sujatmiko clarified when contacted by Kompas.com on Wednesday (15/4/2026).
