Transjabodetabek Blok M-Soetta route officially inaugurated on 12 March

Jakarta — The Jakarta Provincial Government will officially inaugure a new Transjabodetabek route from Blok M to Soekarno Hatta Airport (Soetta) on 12 March 2026.

“For Transjabodetabek, we will officially inaugurate it on 12 March at 9 am,” said Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung at City Hall, Jakarta, on Tuesday.

However, he noted there would be a difference in fares for the Blok M-Soetta route compared to other routes due to three airport terminal stops. Nevertheless, until Eid al-Fitr 2026, Pramono confirmed that Transjabodetabek Blok M-Soetta ticket prices would remain the same as other routes — IDR 2,000 from 05.00 to 07.00 and IDR 3,500 after 07.00 WIB.

“Regarding ticket prices I have not yet decided, but there will be different fares later. Until Eid al-Fitr they will be the same as existing routes. It turns out that going to the airport requires three stops with associated costs,” Pramono explained.

Nevertheless, he assured that future fares for the Blok M-Soetta route would be more affordable compared to other transport options to the airport.

Previously, Pramono revealed that the decision to open the Blok M-Soetta route had been determined in a coordination meeting regarding Jabodetabek transport. One of the matters discussed was the bus stop location in the airport area.

Regarding passenger drop-off points within the airport, he would coordinate with the airport operator. “There will be cooperation between Transjakarta and Angkasa Pura,” said Pramono.

The Jakarta Provincial Government has prepared 20 buses for the new Transjabodetabek Blok M-Soekarno Hatta Airport route. “Regarding the fleet prepared for this route, it is 20 units. With this, every 5, maximum 10 minutes, there will always be a bus,” said Pramono.
