JAKARTA — The Transjabodetabek bus service on the Blok M to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport route has been equipped with luggage storage facilities for passengers.

The bus fleet on this route also stops at Kalayang Station (skytrain) at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, which serves as a connector between airport terminals.

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung stated that the fleet comprises Metrotrans buses with low-entry design, making it easier for passengers to board and alight.

“The buses have a lower deck because they will stop at Kalayang Station, where passengers can then continue to terminals 1, 2 and 3 on the skytrain free of charge,” said Pramono during the bus inauguration at Blok M Terminal in South Jakarta on Thursday, 12 March 2026.

The Transjabodetabek route from Blok M to Soekarno-Hatta Airport spans approximately 65.1 kilometres with an estimated travel time of 121 minutes.

Initially, 14 buses will operate from 05:00 to 22:00. The headway, or interval between bus arrivals, is approximately 10-20 minutes.

For the first three months, the fare is set at Rp3,500. Subsequently, the fare will be evaluated and may be increased.

“I am confident that even if the fare reaches Rp15,000, compared to Damri at Rp80,000 or taxis at more than Rp200,000, or ride-hailing services that average over Rp125,000, I am certain this Transjabodetabek service will become the preferred option and alternative for people,” Pramono said.
