Transjabodetabek Blok M-Bandara Soetta to Begin Operations Tomorrow with Fares and Routes Announced
Transjabodetabek’s route from Blok M to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (Soetta) is scheduled to be officially inaugurated and begin operations starting Thursday, 12 March 2026.
“Regarding the ticket price, I haven’t yet decided, but there will be one—until Eid al-Fitr it will be the same as the existing one (IDR 3,500),” said Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung at Jakarta City Hall on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.
He continued that the fare was not yet final, and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is still calculating various operational cost components.
“Why? Because it turns out that to reach the airport there are three stops that also have costs. But when the time comes, we will decide,” Pramono added.
Nevertheless, Pramono assured that the cost of travel using the Transjabodetabek service to the airport would be significantly cheaper compared to other modes of transport.
“But it is clear that it will definitely be much cheaper compared to taking other transportation or taxis,” said Pramono.
According to reporting, PT Transjakarta Chief Executive Welfizon Yuza stated that this new Transjabodetabek route will depart from Blok M, then pass through Sudirman and the MPR/DPR complex, enter the toll road, and then stop at roadside shelters until finally reaching Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
“So the Metrotrans in orange, with a low floor, so that later the movement of luggage and all manner of things will be relatively easier. And it will stop at the roadside, at roadside shelters. So it is not connected in the middle,” said Welfizon.
