TransJ Tariff Set at Rp 1 During Eid al-Fitr 2026, Operations Begin at 09.00 WIB
PT Transjakarta has implemented service and tariff adjustments for Eid al-Fitr 2026. TransJ buses will commence operations at 09.00 WIB and charge a symbolic Rp 1 tariff on the first day of Lebaran 2026.
“On the first day of Eid al-Fitr (21 or 22 March 2026), Transjakarta will commence operations later than the regular schedule: buses will begin operating at 09.00 WIB to provide an opportunity for drivers and field staff to perform Eid prayers,” said Welfizon Yuza, Managing Director of PT Transportasi Jakarta, in a written statement on Tuesday (17 March 2026).
“Customers can enjoy Transjakarta services at a special tariff of Rp 1 on Lebaran day,” he added.
TransJ has also adjusted its operational pattern during 13-29 March 2026. This measure is intended to ensure safety, smooth operations, and anticipate increased passenger movement during the 2026 Lebaran transport season.
“This step is a follow-up to the 2026 Lebaran Operational Plan Letter from the Jakarta Provincial Transportation Office to support the smooth flow of outbound and return traffic, as well as access to tourist destinations,” he stated.
Support for Outbound and Return Lebaran Traffic
To support customers travelling to terminals, stations and ports, Transjakarta has implemented the following adjustments:
Reactivation of Route 10C: Connecting Tanjung Priok Port-Tanjung Priok as a shuttle service for travellers using sea transport. This route will operate from 13-29 March 2026 with operational times adjusted to ship arrival schedules.
Extension of Service Hours: Routes passing through intercity railway stations (such as Gambir and Pasar Senen stations) and transit stations will have their operating hours extended until 23.59 WIB during 25-29 March 2026.
AMARI Service (Night Transport): 24-hour bus operations will remain available on major corridors (Corridors 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, and 14) to ensure uninterrupted connectivity. Special Eid Routes: Specifically on 25-27 March 2026, auxiliary routes (EID1 - EID5) will be opened connecting Pulo Gebang Terminal to various other terminals in Jakarta (Senen, Tanjung Priok, Kampung Rambutan, Pasar Minggu, and Kalideres) during 00.00-05.00 WIB.
Tourist Area Services
During the Lebaran holiday period (18-24 March 2026), Transjakarta will operate routes to major Jakarta tourist attractions with regular service hours of 05.00-23.59 WIB and tourist bus hours of 10.00-17.00 WIB to:
Ancol: Routes 5 and 1W.
Ragunan: Routes 6, 6A, 6B, 6V, 5N, 6N, and 7E.
TMII: Route 7D.
Old Town & National Monument: Routes 1, 2, 2A, 3, 3H, 12, 1A, 12B, and others.
PT Transjakarta has ensured that these special Lebaran services will not disrupt the performance and quality of existing regular routes. Customers are advised to monitor the latest information through Transjakarta’s official social media or the TJ: Transjakarta application.
