The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is once again offering a Rp1 public transport fare discount in celebration of Jakarta’s 499th anniversary. This promotion is valid for two days this weekend, on Saturday and Sunday, 27-28 June 2026. The programme is part of the closing series of events for Jakarta’s anniversary. All members of the public can enjoy this special fare without being restricted to DKI Jakarta ID card holders. The Rp1 fare applies to public transport services managed by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. The modes receiving the Rp1 fare are Transjakarta BRT, Transjakarta Non-BRT, Transjabodetabek, MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta on the Velodrome-Pegangsaan Dua route. Payment can be made using electronic money cards such as e-Money, Flazz, TapCash, Brizzi, JakLingko Card, Multi Trip Card (KMT), and JakCard. The promotion also applies to payments via the JakLingko and MyMRTJ applications. Mikrotrans services, Transjakarta Cares, and free services for specific communities will continue to use the Rp0 fare in accordance with applicable regulations. In addition to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government’s transport services, the public can also enjoy the Rp1 fare promotion for the KRL Commuter Line to Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) Station. This promotion is valid from 22 to 28 June 2026. The route details are: towards JIS, the train travels from Jakarta Kota to Kampung Bandan, Ancol, Tanjung Priok, and JIS; from JIS, the route is JIS to Ancol, Kampung Bandan, and Jakarta Kota. The promotion is specifically for the KRL Commuter Line Tanjung Priok-Kota route and applies to users boarding from JIS Station heading to Tanjung Priok, Ancol, Kampung Bandan, and Jakarta Kota stations, and vice versa. The operational schedule for the Tanjung Priok-Kota KRL route runs every 30 minutes. The Rp1 fare is expected to make it easier for the public to use public transport while participating in the series of celebrations for Jakarta’s 499th anniversary. The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government also encourages residents to utilise public transport to support the smooth running of mobility to various event locations.
