TransJ Blok M-Soekarno-Hatta Fare Set at Rp 15,000, Effective 1 September

The Jakarta Provincial Government has set the fare for the TransJabodetabek (TransJ) bus service on the Blok M to Soekarno-Hatta Airport route at Rp 15,000. The fare will be effective from 1 September 2026.

“The Governor has issued Governor’s Decree Number 685 of 2026 regarding the Service Tariffs for the Transbandara Public Transport on the Blok M-Soekarno-Hatta Airport route, at a rate of Rp 15,000,” stated the Head of the Jakarta Transportation Agency, Budi Awaluddin, to reporters at Jakarta City Hall on Friday (13/7/2026).

Budi clarified that this figure represents a formal establishment of the rate rather than an increase, following the conclusion of a trial period. “This is not an increase, but a formal establishment. Previously, the rate had not been officially set as it was in a trial phase. Therefore, this is the established tariff, which is also part of social protection measures,” he explained.

The Rp 15,000 fare applies specifically to the Blok M to Soekarno-Hatta Airport route. The new tariff was officially announced on 31 July 2026 and will come into force on 1 September 2026, allowing a one-month period for public socialisation and preparation.
