Transit Lodging at Pulogebang Terminal Rp15,000 per Night, Open to Passengers Arriving Late

Pulogebang Integrated Terminal in East Jakarta now offers affordable lodging for bus passengers arriving late at night. The lodging is operated by the Jakarta Province Department of Transportation (Dishub) and is located on the third floor of the driver rest building, near the arrivals area. A banner reading “Transit Lodging Rp15,000 per Night” is displayed near the arrivals entrance. The male room provides a mattress without a pillow, while the female room is equipped with a bed and pillow. Each room has power outlets. The mattresses are reasonably comfortable, though plushness varies. The corridor and bathroom are separated to maintain comfort, and the use of the bathroom costs Rp5,000. The Shuttle/Terminal Commander Daryanto explained that the lodging is frequently used by passengers arriving late at night. He added that the lodging can only be used by passengers who hold a bus ticket. ‘So the lodging at Pulogebang is temporary in nature. People can rest here if they already have a ticket,’ he said.
