Transgender Street Performer Slaps Customer in Solo's Singosaren Area, Arrested by Satpol PP

A transgender street performer identified as SD, also known as Manohara (45), was arrested by Solo City’s Satpol PP. The incident occurred after Manohara struck a customer’s head at a Padang rice restaurant in the Singosaren area for not receiving money. Manohara’s actions went viral on social media. According to shared posts, the victim recounted being slapped by Manohara while at the eatery. Following the incident, the victim reported it to Solo City’s Satpol PP hotline. Officers swiftly apprehended the suspect. Solo City Satpol PP chief Didik Anggono stated the unpleasant incident occurred on Tuesday (26 May) evening. At the time, the suspect was performing as a street musician and approached a female customer’s table at a Padang rice restaurant in the Songosaren area. ‘He was performing but wasn’t given money by a customer. He then started shouting abuse. The performer then struck the person’s head hard,’ said Didik, speaking to detikJateng. Feeling threatened and fearful, the victim reported the incident via Satpol PP’s hotline. Solo City’s Satpol PP team conducted a search at locations where the suspect frequently loitered. Manohara was apprehended behind the UNS campus in Jebres, Solo.
