Transforming Life in a Foreign Land: Herfain Succeeds in Rearing Tens of Thousands of Chickens
Not Just Farming, Starting Investments
Besides farming, Herfain has also begun eyeing the property and tourism sectors. He plans to build villas in the Malino tourist area, South Sulawesi.
“If it’s for South Sulawesi, I want to invest in villas. Coincidentally, I have a location in Malino. My plan is to check the location, then clear it, before I order the villas from Minahasa,” he explained.
For him, business does not have to be in one field. Diversifying businesses is one way to maintain economic stability and open new opportunities.
Networks and Entrepreneur Relations
In his journey as an entrepreneur, Herfain has also realised that networks and maintaining relations play an important role in the business world.
From various entrepreneur meetings he has attended, he has gained many lessons and new opportunities.
“My opinion is that it’s extraordinary because this is where the seniors and elders gather; we can take their knowledge, discuss, and open new networks. There’s a lot of positive energy from activities like this,” he said.
Although this was his first time participating in the event, he admitted he wants to join again in the future.
“This is just the first time; going forward, I will join again,” he said.
