PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk has officially released its 2025 Sustainability Report (SR), outlining several developments in its ESG strategies and the direction of the company’s business transformation. Notably, this year’s report demonstrates how sustainability is becoming increasingly integrated with the growth agenda and the strengthening of TelkomGroup’s core business.

In the report, TelkomGroup presents its transformation direction through the ‘TLKM 3.0’ agenda, which focuses on operational excellence, business streamlining, the monetisation of digital assets, and the company’s transition towards a strategic holding structure. ‘This approach shows how the company is beginning to build a foundation for long-term growth amidst increasingly complex industry changes,’ an official statement received on Wednesday (3/6/2026) noted.

This transformation proceeds alongside the company’s ESG strategy through three main pillars: Save Our Planet, Empower Our People, and Elevate Our Business.

Under the ‘Save Our Planet’ pillar, TelkomGroup highlighted various low-carbon transition steps, ranging from emission management and operational energy efficiency to the development of green data centres. In this 2025 SR, the company also launched its Climate Transition Plan for the first time as part of strengthening its long-term sustainability direction.

Under the ‘Empower Our People’ pillar, TelkomGroup continued its commitment to society and the working environment throughout 2025. The company has become more inclusive, with women occupying 21% of managerial positions and the development of over 20.2% digital talent. Beyond internal progress, the Net Promoter Score (NPS) reached an ‘Excellent’ rating. In the economic sector, Telkom successfully supported local communities, helping 12.6% of its mentored MSMEs (UMKM) to scale up and become independent.

Meanwhile, through the ‘Elevate Our Business’ pillar, the company is strengthening governance and digital business risk management. One notable step in the 2025 SR is the formation of the Legal & Compliance Directorate to strengthen governance, data security, and corporate compliance amidst the increasing complexity of digital business.

At the same time, the 2025 SR shows how TelkomGroup is strengthening its role in the national digital infrastructure ecosystem through the development of data centres, fibre optic networks, towers, and international connectivity. This focus is significant as it indicates a transformation direction that no longer relies solely on conventional telecommunications services, but also on the strengthening of strategic digital assets for the future.

More than just an annual report, the 2025 SR provides a picture of how TelkomGroup is integrating business transformation and ESG more comprehensively. Amid rapid industry changes, sustainability appears to be positioned not merely as a form of compliance, but as a core part of the company’s strategy to maintain long-term growth.
