Transferred to Polda Detention, Roy Suryo Shouts Takbir with Clenched Fist

Suspects in the alleged defamation and slander case related to the authenticity of the diploma of Indonesia’s 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Roy Suryo and Tifauzia Tyassuma (Doctor Tifa), were discharged from the Kramat Jati Police Hospital in East Jakarta and immediately taken to Polda Metro Jaya on Monday morning. Roy and Tifa exited the inpatient building of the Police Hospital at around 06:40 WIB. Roy, wearing a brown-toned long-sleeved batik shirt, and Tifa, dressed in black with an orange detainee shirt, were directly escorted into a Polda Metro Jaya detention vehicle. “Allahuakbar, Allahuakbar,” Roy shouted while raising his clenched fist as he left the inpatient ward of the Kramat Jati Police Hospital in East Jakarta on Monday. Subsequently, both are scheduled to undergo the stage II handover process as part of the handling of the case, which has been ongoing for approximately one year. The stage II handover is the process of transferring the suspects and evidence from investigators to the prosecution after the case file has been declared complete.
