PT Energy Transporter Indonesia (ETI), a subsidiary of PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk (IDX: TCPI), has secured an investment credit facility worth a maximum of Rp114.2 billion from a state-owned bank. The facility, effective from 16 July 2026, is expected to bolster the company’s operational development. According to a disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange, all terms and conditions of the financing have been set out in a credit agreement signed between ETI and the bank. Transcoal Pacific Director Bintang Septo Drestanto stated that the credit facility is part of the company’s efforts to strengthen its business foundation and support the investment needs of its subsidiary. The company noted that the financing will have a positive impact on operational activities by reinforcing the investment funding required for business development. Transcoal Pacific also confirmed that the transaction is not an affiliated party transaction, as there is no affiliation between the company and the lending bank. The company believes the facility will enhance ETI’s operational capabilities in supporting Transcoal Pacific’s shipping and logistics business, while also underpinning the group’s long-term growth strategy.
