The Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) has announced that PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk (TCPI) has been added to the high shareholding concentration (HSC) list. TCPI is the 11th issuer to be included in the category.

According to the BEI announcement, 94.1% of the company’s total shares are held by a specific group of shareholders. ‘The announcement does not necessarily indicate a violation of existing capital market regulations,’ BEI stated in its announcement on Saturday, 30 May 2026.

Previously, 10 other issuers were listed in the HSC category: PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA), PT Abadi Lestari Indonesia Tbk (RLCO), PT Rockfields Property Indonesia Tbk (ROCK), PT Panca Anugrah Wisesa Tbk (MGLV), PT Ifishdeco Tbk (IFSH), PT Satria Mega Kencana Tbk (SOTS), PT Samator Indo Gas Tbk (AGII), PT Lima Dua Lima Tiga Tbk (LUCY), and PT BSA Logistics Indonesia Tbk (WBSA).

BEI’s Corporate Valuation Director, I Gede Nyoman Yetna, said the exchange has held consultations with several HSC issuers. ‘I won’t name them, but most of these companies have already met with us,’ Nyoman told reporters at the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Tuesday, 19 May 2026.

The consultations discussed steps companies could take to be removed from the HSC list. Nyoman said one possible step is mapping ownership. He stated that the exchange does not consider affiliations in shareholding, but focuses on concentration of ownership among a few parties.

According to Nyoman, when shareholding is concentrated, market pricing does not reflect objective conditions. ‘We also want to stress that a more even distribution of shares would lead to pricing that reflects fundamental objectivity,’ he said.
