Trans Sumatra Toll Tariffs to Receive 10% Discount
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - In commemoration of National Customer Day 2026, PT Hutama Karya (Persero) (Hutama Karya) will implement a 10% toll tariff discount on several sections of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS). This policy serves as a form of appreciation for road users who have chosen the JTTS for their journeys and reflects the company’s commitment to providing optimal service to the public.
This policy aligns with the Government’s ‘Asta Cita’ programme, particularly in strengthening infrastructure development, economic equality, and inter-regional connectivity. The tariff reduction is expected to provide direct benefits to motorists undertaking long-distance journeys while supporting enhanced mobility and connectivity across Sumatra.
The 10% discount will be in effect for two calendar days, starting from Friday, 4 September 202 Segment 2026 at 07:00 WIB until Sunday, 6 September 2026 at 07:00 WIB. The policy applies in both directions for all vehicle classes travelling between the specified origins and destinations, provided they use an electronic money card with sufficient balance.
Iwan Hermawan, Director of Operations III at Hutama Karya, stated that the tariff reduction is a gesture of appreciation to road users for their continued trust and support of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road services.
“Through the momentum of National Customer Day, we wish to provide benefits that can be felt directly while continuously improving the quality of service for the community,” Iwan said in a written statement on Thursday (3/9/2026).
Details of the Tariff Reductions and Conditions:
The discount is applied to the longest specified origin-destination routes as follows:
Southern Sumatra Region:
- GT Prabumulih - GT Palembang and vice versa (Palindra Toll):
Class I: Rp27,000 to Rp24,500
Class II & III: Rp40,500 to Rp36,500
Class IV & V: Rp5lar54,000 to Rp48,500
- GT Prabumulih - GT Kayu Agung and vice versa (Inprabu Toll):
Class I: Rp85,000 to Rp76,500
Class II & III: Rp127,500 to Rp114,500
Class IV & V: Rp170,000 to Rp153,000
- GT Bakauheni Selatan - GT Kayu Agung and vice versa (Terpeka Toll):
Class I: Rp255,500 to Rp230,000
Class II & III: Rp383,500 to Rp345,000
Class IV & V: Rp511,500 to Rp460,000
- GT Bengkulu - GT Taba Penanjung and vice versa:

Iwan noted that the discount only applies to motorists travelling between the specified origins and destinations. Transactions outside these routes will be charged the normal rate. For integrated sections, motorists must use the same electronic money card for both entry and exit.
“Hutama Karya urges road users to check the tariffs according to their entry gate and destination, and to ensure that their electronic money card balance is sufficient before entering the toll road. Motorists are also expected to obey signs and officer directions, maintain their vehicle condition, and utilise rest areas for breaks to ensure safety and comfort during their journey,” Iwan concluded.
