Trans Java Toll Tariff Discount 15–16 March 2026, Jakarta–Semarang Reduced to IDR 312,550
The government alongside toll operators is once again providing a 30 per cent discount on Trans Java toll tariffs to support smooth travel during the Lebaran holiday period.
This 2026 homebound toll tariff discount programme is welcome news for people planning long-distance travel using private vehicles.
One of the most popular routes for holiday travellers is the journey from Jakarta to Semarang.
The tariff reduction is expected to help people save on travel costs whilst encouraging homebound travellers to depart earlier, thereby helping to control traffic congestion on toll roads.
PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk stated that the 2026 Trans Java toll discount programme will be implemented over four days divided into two periods, covering the outbound exodus and return journey periods.
Based on Jasa Marga’s projections, the peak of the Lebaran holiday exodus is estimated to occur on 18 March 2026, whilst the peak return period is predicted to take place on 24 March 2026.
Accordingly, providing discounts outside the peak travel dates is expected to encourage people to travel home earlier so that vehicle congestion on toll roads can be better distributed.
This route is a main Trans Java toll pathway connecting Jakarta with Semarang.
The following is the breakdown of the 2026 homebound toll tariff discount for Class I vehicles:
Outbound exodus (15–16 March 2026)
Cikampek Utama toll gate – Kalikangkung toll gate
Kalikangkung toll gate – Cikampek Utama toll gate
Should any of these conditions not be met, the Trans Java toll tariff discount cannot be provided.
For additional information, the 2026 homebound toll discount programme is also applied to several other toll sections, including Trans Sumatra toll roads and a number of toll sections in the Bandung region such as Cisumdawu toll.
