Pictures of the bus being promoted as a favored mode of travel in Jakarta's mass transportation system are now published in the printed media by the name of the Trans-Jakarta Bus. This name, which is good and appropriate, should be popularized by the Jakarta administration and the mass media so as to avoid the term "busway" for the system.

Busway, which means the special lane for buses, has been used for some time, possibly owing to the lack of English knowledge on the part of government officials, who cannot distinguish between mass transportation buses and the lane reserved for these buses.

Now let us abandon busway and use Trans-Jakarta Bus transportation instead, while hoping that the authorities in charge of this project will be open to criticism.
