Trans-Jakarta Adjusts Operations for Iduladha

PT Transportasi Jakarta has adjusted its service operations for the 1447 Hijriah Iduladha holiday on Wednesday, 27 May. Regular Trans-Jakarta services will now commence at 9.00 am WIB to allow staff time to attend Eid prayers, whereas they typically start at 5.00 am. The adjustment applies to all services, including BRT corridors, non-BRT routes, and Mikrotrans. Ayu Wardhani, Head of Public Relations and CSR at PT Transportasi Jakarta, stated the decision considers customer needs while providing staff with the opportunity to observe religious holidays. She added, “Trans-Jakarta continues to strive for adaptive public transport services that meet community needs. This operational adjustment ensures smooth service delivery while enabling staff to perform their religious duties.” The company also urged passengers to adjust travel times and plan ahead during the adjustment period, assuring that services will remain optimal to support Jakarta residents’ mobility during the holiday.
