The programme to form 4,000 civil servant reserve components (komcad ASN) will begin next week. Head of the Komcad Centre at Bacadnas, Ministry of Defence, Brigadier General Hengki Yuda Setiawan, explained that the programme will be opened by the Minister of Defence and several other ministers at Monas in Central Jakarta on Monday (13/4/2026).

According to him, in the first wave, the komcad training programme will be attended by 2,000 civil servants. The participants will undergo training for 1.5 months at six designated education and training institutions (lemdik).

“At six lemdik. The first is Rindam Jaya, the second is at Pasmar 1 Cilandak, Wingdik 500 at Atang Sanjaya, then Pusdikkes in Kramat Jati, the fifth is at Puskom Bela Negara in Rumpin, and the sixth is at Halim Perdanakusuma,” said Hengki at the Ministry of Defence in Central Jakarta on Wednesday (8/4/2026).

He conveyed that so far, several ministries have sent participants according to their quotas of civil servants aged 18-35 years. According to Hengki, this data was obtained from the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) for further review. All ministries and state institutions have contributed civil servants, except for one ministry.

Republika has reviewed data on civil servants sent by ministries and institutions. Some have exceeded their quotas, while others have fallen short. However, there is indeed one ministry that has not sent a single participant.

Hengki continued that all komcad participants have undergone administrative checks since before Eid. Health examinations are scheduled from 30 March to 9 April 2026. He mentioned that several hospitals have been designated as locations for health checks for the 2,000 civil servants.

“This is currently underway, conducted at the Pusdikkes Hospital in Kramat Jati, then at the hospital at Pasmar 1 or Brigif 1 Marines, the hospital at Sudirman or the Ministry of Defence Hospital, and also at the hospital at Halim Perdanakusuma,” explained Hengki.
