Training for 1,758 Civil Servants Completed, Minister of PANRB: Be Role Models in the Workplace
The basic military training for the first wave of the Civil Servant Reserve Component (Komcad) for the current fiscal year, involving 1,758 participants from 49 ministries and agencies, has been completed. The group consists of 1,292 men and 466 women. The training took place from 22 April to 5 June 2026, according to the report by Lieutenant General Gabriel Lema, Head of the National Reserve Agency (Bacadnas) of the Ministry of Defence, during the closing ceremony at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, East Jakarta, on Friday (5/6/2026).
The civil servants were officially sworn in as members of the Reserve Component on Wednesday (3/6). The Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, Rini Widyantini, who served as the ceremony inspector, stated that the Komcad training is highly relevant to the duties of civil servants.
“The values acquired during this training are essentially very relevant to the tasks and responsibilities of civil servants, including work discipline, responsibility in fulfilling mandates, the ability to cooperate across differences, and resilience in facing various challenges and pressures,” said Rini.
Rini urged the civil servants who passed the training to serve as role models within their respective work environments. She called on them to demonstrate the values instilled during the Komcad training.
“Be role models in your respective workplaces. Show that Indonesian civil servants are capable of exemplifying discipline, integrity, loyalty, and professionalism. Demonstrate that the values you have gained during this training can be realised through improved public services, more professional governance, and more meaningful service to the community,” she added.
