JAKARTA (JP): The office of the Social Affairs Minister plans to
build a national vocational training center for the disabled in
Cibinong, Bogor, an official said.

Director General of Social Rehabilitation Sudilo Supeno said the
construction of the project, to be built with financial assistance
from Japan, will start next year and is expected to be completed in
1997.

The facility will be built existing training courses at boarding
houses for the disabled remain poor, he said.

"Company owners said that current coursework for the disabled
fails to provide them with adequate skills," he siad. (hhr)
