Train Tickets Still Available as Peak Exodus Traffic at Daop 3 Cirebon Predicted for H-3 Eid

Availability of train tickets for the 2026 Eid transport period in the working area of Daop 3 Cirebon remains plentiful. The peak of the Eid exodus in the region is predicted to occur on H-3 Eid or 18 March 2026.

Muhibbuddin, public relations manager of PT KAI Daop 3 Cirebon, stated that of the seven trains operated by Daop 3 Cirebon for the Eid transport season this year, 102,300 tickets have been made available. This figure represents a 36.4 per cent increase from last year’s Eid period, which offered only 74,988 tickets.

Muhibbuddin noted that of the 102,300 tickets provided, approximately 41,200 tickets, or 40.4 per cent, have been sold to date. Therefore, approximately 60,000 train tickets for the 2026 Eid transport period remain unsold.

“There are still many tickets available, particularly for days outside the peak preference period, namely H-3 to H-1 Eid. If those dates fill up, they go above 100 per cent,” Muhibbuddin said on Wednesday (11 March 2026).

Muhibbuddin stated that based on preliminary observations, the predicted peak arrival of passengers (exodus traffic) during the 2026 Eid transport period in Daop 3 Cirebon will occur on H-3 Eid (18 March 2026). Meanwhile, the predicted peak departure of passengers (return traffic) is expected to occur on H+2 Eid (23 March 2026).

He added that during the Eid transport period in the PT KAI Daop 3 Cirebon region, there will be 171 train journeys, comprising 131 regular passenger trains and 40 additional trains per day.

“We hope that with thorough preparation from all aspects as well as collaboration and synergy for smooth Eid transport, the 2026 Eid transport service will run safely, healthily, successfully, smoothly, in a controlled manner, protected and blessed by Allah the Almighty, and that all train service users can enjoy a peaceful and pleasant journey during the exodus,” Muhibbuddin stated.
