Train Schedules to Change from 1 May 2026, Passengers at Kutoarjo Station Must Check

PURWOREJO, KOMPAS.com — There will be adjustments to the operational patterns of several train services starting from early May 2026, precisely on Friday (1/5/2026), carried out by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daerah Operasi 5 Purwokerto.

These changes include departure schedules, arrivals, and the addition of stopping stations on some journeys.

The Public Relations Manager of KAI Daop 5 Purwokerto, M. As’ad Habibuddin, stated that these changes are part of efforts to improve the reliability of train operations.

“The schedule adjustments are a continuous evaluation step to enhance operational performance while providing a better travel experience for customers,” said As’ad on Friday (24/4/2026).

At Kutoarjo Station, there are several significant changes that passengers need to note.

KA Argo Wilis route Bandung-Surabaya Gubeng

For the KA Argo Wilis route Bandung–Surabaya Gubeng, the arrival time at Kutoarjo will change from 12.38 WIB to 12.48 WIB. Meanwhile, the departure will shift from 12.41 WIB to 12.51 WIB.

KA Lodaya route Solo Balapan-Bandung

Changes also occur on the KA Lodaya route Solo Balapan–Bandung. This train now arrives earlier at Kutoarjo, from previously 09.02 WIB to 08.53 WIB, with the departure also advancing from 09.05 WIB to 08.56 WIB.

KA Sawunggalih route Pasar Senen-Kutoarjo

The KA Sawunggalih route Pasar Senen–Kutoarjo also experiences adjustments to its arrival time. This train was previously scheduled to arrive at 12.51 WIB, now earlier at 12.39 WIB.

KA Kutojaya Selatan route Kutoarjo-Kiaracondong

Not only that, the KA Kutojaya Selatan route Kutoarjo–Kiaracondong also experiences changes on its nearest line, namely at Maos Station. The arrival schedule at that station changes from 11.49 WIB to 11.38 WIB, which also affects travel planning for passengers from Kutoarjo.
