He explained that cumulatively, during the period from 11 to 30 March 2026, KAI Daop 1 Jakarta operated 2,016 train trips, consisting of 1,796 long-distance train trips and 220 commuter train trips.
As of 31 March 2026, the number of passengers departing from the Daop 1 Jakarta region reached 904,917 customers, with an average occupancy rate of 85 per cent out of a total capacity of 1,083,674 seats provided.

Franoto assured that the 2026 Eid transport services would continue to run reliably until nearing the end of the operational period.
Various efforts have been consistently undertaken since the beginning of the 2026 Eid transport period, ranging from strengthening operational aspects, improving services, to optimising resources to support the smooth running of train travel amid high public mobility.
These steps are part of KAI’s commitment to providing public transportation that is safe, secure, comfortable, and on time, especially during the Eid transport period, which is an important moment for the public.
“With only one day left in the Eid transport period, KAI Daop 1 Jakarta ensures that all services continue to operate optimally until the end of the period,” Franoto emphasised.
