Train Passengers in Daop 3 Cirebon Increase by 9%
PT Kereta Api Indonesia Daerah Operasi (Daop) 3 Cirebon has served 371,044 customers during the 22-day Lebaran transport period in 2026.
“During the 22 days of Lebaran transport, from 11 March to 1 April 2026, Daop 3 Cirebon has served 371,044 customers,” stated Muhibbuddin, Public Relations Manager of KAI Daop 3 Cirebon, on Friday (3/4).
This figure includes 181,892 passengers departing or boarding from various stations in the Daop 3 area. Meanwhile, 189,152 passengers arrived or alighted at stations within Daop 3 Cirebon’s operational area.
The distribution of customers on long-distance commercial trains was 163,759, and on long-distance PSO trains, 18,133 people.
Muhibbuddin explained that the number of passengers during the 2026 Lebaran transport period increased by around 9% compared to the previous year. In 2025, the number of passengers reached 338,855, while the 2026 Lebaran achievement reached 371,044.
The peak arrival of returnees occurred on 19 March 2026 with 11,395 people. The peak return flow occurred on 22 March 2026, with 13,748 people.
During this year’s Lebaran transport period, Daop 3 Cirebon operated 171 passenger trains daily, consisting of 129 regular trains and 42 additional Lebaran trains.
Over the 22 days of the 2026 Lebaran transport period, Daop 3 Cirebon operated 3,762 trains.
“All train operations during the Lebaran transport period ran safely and smoothly, with no disruptions or zero accidents. This is evidenced by the On-Time Performance (OTP) achievement for train departures at 100% and for train arrivals at 100%,” stated Muhibbuddin.
Furthermore, during the Lebaran transport period, five stations in the Daop 3 Cirebon area served the highest number of customers: Cirebon Station served 145,840 customers, Cirebonprujakan Station served 64,915 customers, Jatibarang Station served 45,612 customers, Brebes Station served 42,756 customers, and Haurgeulis Station served 25,373 customers.
