Train Passengers Can Now Enjoy 20% Ticket Discounts: Check the Routes

Prospective train passengers can now enjoy more affordable journeys on the railway. PT KAI is providing a promotion in the form of a 20% discount on train ticket purchases for commercial executive trains.

“This promotion is an effort by KAI to provide affordable and comfortable transportation services for the public,” said the Public Relations Manager of KAI’s Daop 3 Cirebon, Muhibbuddin, on Thursday (26/3).

Muhibbuddin explained that the ticket price discount for customers applies to purchases from 25 March to 1 April 2026 for departure periods from 25 March to 11 April 2026.

Muhibbuddin also added that this promotion is an effort by KAI to provide affordable and comfortable transportation services for the public. It is hoped, he said, that loyal train customers can celebrate Eid al-Fitr with their families in their hometowns.

Muhibbuddin explained that KAI is presenting various attractive programmes that can benefit customers.

“The Eid Mudik Reunion Promotion is expected to help the public plan more economical and comfortable homecoming trips by train. Tickets can be purchased through all official KAI sales channels,” Muhibbuddin clarified.

This promotion targets executive class services on KA Sribilah Utama, Medan Station to Tebingtinggi, Kisaran, and Rantauprapat routes.

Train tickets sold have reached 4,342,343 or 96.5% of the total 4,498,696 seats provided during the period from 11 March to 1 April, or during the 2026 Lebaran holiday period.

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) recorded positive ticket sales trends for the 2026 Lebaran transport as it enters the return flow period.

Entering the third day of Lebaran 2026, on Monday (23/3), KAI Commuter Region 6 Yogyakarta was observed to be busy but smooth, dominated by seasonal users with a volume of 48,564 people.
