Train connection back to normal

MUARAENIM, South Sumatra: Railroad transportation connecting
Palembang and Lubuklinggau has returned to normal after a train
crash which killed five passengers and injured eight others over
the weekend temporarily closed the line.

Hundred of railroad employees lifted wrecked railway cars from
the track on Sunday evening, using equipment from the Bandar
Lampung railroad storehouse.

"All trains can now pass the location normally," the head of
the railroad station of Muaraenim, Zakaria, said as quoted by
Antara news agency.

He remained silent, when asked to state the cause of the
crash.

The injured have been treated at the Muaraenim state-owned
hospital and those killed have been buried by their families.
