Train accidents kill three

SURABAYA: Two separate train accidents occurred on Friday in East
Java province, killing three.

In Sidoarjo regency, a train heading east to Surabaya hit
Mustoifah and her daughter Nurul Hidayah as they were walking
along/crossing the tracks.

Mustoifah died instantly, while Nurul died at a local
hospital, where she had been admitted for emergency treatment.

In Ngawi regency, Mujiono, an employee with state train
operator PT Kereta Api Indonesia (PT KAI), was killed after the
train car he was driving derailed in Semarang subdistrict. -- JP
