Tragic Murder of Anggi Aulia: Suspect Throws Victim from Bogor Toll Road While Still Moving

Police have uncovered the suspect’s method in the murder of Anggi Aulia (25), Muhammad Febryan (26), who allegedly strangled the victim with a tie inside the car under the pretext of retrieving a phone charger. Bogor City Police’s Crime Investigation Unit Chief, Kompol Bagus Azi Lesmana Putra, stated the suspect acted out of resentment and grudge towards the victim. According to investigations, the suspect felt insulted after the victim allegedly made derogatory remarks during their meeting at Air Mancur, Bogor, on Saturday (2 May 2026). Following the meeting, the suspect contacted the victim again on Friday (22 May 2026). They met at a coffee shop in Kemang before proceeding to a restaurant in Pakansari, Bogor Regency. It was there that the suspect carried out the attack. “He claimed he wanted to fetch a charger from the bag in the back of the car, but instead took a tie and strangled the victim’s neck with two loops from behind,” said Azi Lesmana. After being strangled, Anggi was reported to be weak and unconscious. While driving on the Bogor Outer Ring Road (BORR), the suspect decided to dump the victim’s body, which was still showing signs of movement at the time. “Ultimately, (MF) thought that since they were passing the toll road and it was quiet, the idea came to him to throw her down there,” he added. Around 1:00 to 1:15 AM on Saturday morning, Anggi’s body was thrown from the toll road in the Yasmin area of Bogor.
