JAKARTA - Vehicle traffic heading east on the Trans-Java route remains high. During the period from H-10 to H+1 (11-22 March 2026), the number reached 790,791 vehicles passing through the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate.

That traffic volume increased significantly, by 129.84 per cent compared to normal conditions of 344,067 vehicles.

Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that this situation shows that public movement is still high even entering H+1 of Eid.

According to her, the increase in vehicles heading to Jakarta indicates that the return flow has begun. To anticipate the surge in vehicle volume, the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate is currently operating 22 toll booths towards Jakarta to ensure smooth transactions.

The toll fare discount will apply from 26 March 2026 at 00.00 WIB until 27 March 2026 at 24.00 WIB.

β€œIn addition, a 23 per cent toll fare discount for all transactions on the Batang-Semarang Toll Road section is still being implemented from 12 March to 31 March 2026. This policy is expected to help distribute traffic more evenly while providing direct benefits to road users,” said Ria.
