Traffic Through Pancoran En Route to Semanggi Congested This Morning

Detikcom observed traffic congestion since Jalan Letjen MT Haryono, Pancoran. Traffic volume was particularly heavy before the junction of MT Haryono Road with Cikoko Barat Raya. Traffic conditions have remained dense since before the Pancoran flyover. Congestion also persists after the Pancoran flyover due to the merging of traffic from above and below the flyover. Vehicles were observed moving at slow speeds. The entire carriageway was filled with vehicles. Cars and motorcycles were moving at speeds below 5 km/h. A number of drivers could be heard honking. TransJakarta (TransJ) buses could only run at normal speeds after passing Pancoran Station. Subsequent TransJ services ran on the bus lane (busway). TMC Polda Metro Jaya said there would be a demonstration today starting at 10:00 WIB. Police warned of potential congestion in front of the DPR/MPR RI Building on Jalan Gatot Subroto, Central Jakarta, and in the National Monument Horse Statue area (Central Jakarta). “For motorists, you are urged to avoid roads around this area, prioritise safety in driving, always follow the instructions and directions from officers on the ground for safety and smoothness for us all, and comply with the rules,” said TMC Polda Metro Jaya via X account @TMCPoldaMetro.
