Traffic Situation on Jakarta-Bound Toll Roads This Morning, Congestion at Cawang

Traffic flow on a number of toll roads heading towards Jakarta was heavily congested this morning. Congestion occurred on the Cililitan Toll Road section towards Cawang.

“08.30 WIB #Tol_Jagorawi Cawang-TMII-Cibubur-Bogor-Ciawi flowing smoothly. Cililitan KM 01-Cawang KM 00 congested, high vehicle volume,” wrote Jasa Marga, as quoted by detikcom, Thursday (18/6/2026).

Additionally, a 2-kilometre tailback occurred on the Cawang Toll Road towards Semanggi. Traffic was heavily congested heading to the Kuningan exit due to increased vehicle volume on the arterial roads.

“08.32 WIB #Tol_Dalam Kota Cawang KM 00-KM 02 towards Tebet congested, high traffic volume. Tebet KM 03-exit Kuningan/Menteng KM 04+800 congested, high traffic volume on the arterial road,” stated Jasa Marga.

Congestion on the Inner City Toll Road also occurred on the KM 07 Semanggi section towards the Semanggi/Kebayoran exit at KM 07+800 due to vehicle volume.

Congestion also occurred precisely at KM 17-KM 15+400 of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road heading towards Jakarta due to road repair works. Meanwhile, traffic in the opposite direction from Cawang to Cikampek was flowing smoothly.

A similar situation also occurred on the Tangerang Toll Road heading towards Jakarta. Specifically, from KM 09 Karang Tengah Toll Road to KM 04 Kedoya Toll Road, traffic was congested due to vehicle volume.

Further information indicates there is a contraflow on the Kebon Jeruk Toll Road, precisely after the Tomang underpass KM 00-Kebon Jeruk Toll Road KM 03+400.
