The Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) Toll Road operator, Astra Tol Cipali, in West Java has recorded approximately 26,000 vehicles traversing the route towards Cirebon through Saturday midday, marking the beginning of the 2026 Lebaran homecoming period.

“From 00.00 to 12.00 Western Indonesia Time, approximately 26,000 vehicles passed through Cikopo heading towards Cirebon,” said Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications Department Head Ardam Rafif Trisilo in a statement in Cirebon on Saturday, 14 March 2026.

He noted that vehicle volume increased by approximately 75 per cent compared to the same period the previous day.

In the opposite direction, approximately 11,000 vehicles were recorded travelling from Cirebon towards Jakarta through the Cikopo toll gate during the same period. “Overall, traffic volume increased by approximately 48 per cent compared to the same hours yesterday,” he stated.

According to him, the increase in vehicle flow has become evident as public mobility rises during the 2026 Lebaran homecoming period.

Astra Tol Cipali continues to monitor traffic conditions throughout the Cipali toll road to ensure smooth travel for road users.

Additionally, Astra Tol Cipali supports the government’s policy on managing vehicle flow distribution during the homecoming period.

Ardam announced a 30 per cent toll rate discount for road users making continuous journeys from the Northern Cikampek toll gate to the Kalikangkung toll gate.

“The discount programme is scheduled to commence on Sunday (15/3) at 00.00 Western Indonesia Time until Monday (16/3) at 24.00 Western Indonesia Time,” he said.

Astra Tol Cipali urges the public to take advantage of the discount programme to plan their journeys earlier, ensuring more comfortable, safe, and smooth travel.
