Traffic flow on the Cikopo-Palimanan toll road, or Cipali Toll Road, has returned to normal following the return flow of the 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday. The implementation of traffic engineering is described as situational, following the discretion of the National Police Traffic Corps.

Ardam Rafif Trisilo, Head of Sustainability Management & Corporate Communications at Astra Tol Cipali, explained that the return to normal two-way traffic on the Cipali Toll Road was implemented at 17:50 WIB. This application concludes the one-way traffic engineering towards Jakarta from KM 263 (Pejagan-Pemalang) to KM 70 (Jakarta-Cikampek), which had been in place since Monday (23/3) at 17:08 WIB.

“Before returning to normal, preparatory steps including the sterilisation of the Cirebon-bound lane and rest areas were carried out starting at 15:30 WIB,” said Ardam.

The sterilisation process, he continued, was conducted in stages, beginning with the rest areas and then proceeding to the main lane, with regulation and supervision by on-site officers, based on the discretion and direct instructions from the Police, to ensure traffic safety and smoothness.

Furthermore, Ardam conveyed that the traffic engineering implementation is situational, following the discretion of the National Police Traffic Corps.

Meanwhile, thousands of vehicles passed through the Cipali Toll Road from 00:00 to 17:00 WIB on H+1 of Eid 2026. The traffic flow towards Jakarta was observed to be busy but smooth.

“Approximately 67,000 vehicles have crossed from Cikopo towards Jakarta. This number is 10% lower than the same period yesterday,” said Ardam.

Ardam advised all road users to always prioritise safety, maintain safe distances between vehicles, and strictly comply with instructions from on-site officers during the traffic engineering normalisation period.
