Traffic Management Schedule Confirmed for Eid 2026: One-Way, Contra-Flow and Odd-Even Schemes
Jakarta — The government, through the Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Public Works, and the National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri), has officially established traffic management arrangements for the Eid 2026 exodus and return journey periods.
The policy is set out in Joint Decision Letter (SKB) Number KP-DRJD 854 Year 2026, HK.201/1/21/DJPL/2026, Kep/43/II/2026, and 20/KPTS/Db/2026. These regulations have been implemented to ensure safety, security, and smooth traffic flow, whilst optimising the capacity of national roads and toll roads during the Eid transport period.
One-way systems will be implemented during the outbound exodus from the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road at KM 47 to the Semarang-Solo Toll Road at KM 421. This policy takes effect from Tuesday, 17 March 2026 at 12:00 WIB until Friday, 20 March 2026 at 24:00 WIB.
During the return journey, the one-way system will be applied from the Semarang-Solo Toll Road at KM 421 towards the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road at KM 70, effective from Monday, 23 March 2026 at 12:00 WIB until Sunday, 29 March 2026 at 24:00 WIB.
The odd-even number plate scheme will be implemented during two periods. The first period runs from 17 March 2026 at 14:00 WIB until 20 March 2026 at 24:00 WIB, whilst the second period applies on 21 March 2026 from 12:00 to 20:00 WIB and 22 March 2026 from 09:00 to 18:00 WIB.
Contra-flow arrangements will be deployed on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road from KM 70 towards KM 47 during the return journey, effective from 23 March 2026 at 14:00 WIB until 29 March 2026 at 24:00 WIB. Additionally, contra-flow will be implemented on the Jagorawi Toll Road from KM 21 (Gunung Putri) to KM 8 (Cipayung) on 24 March 2026 and 29 March 2026 from 14:00 to 19:00 WIB.
During the return journey from 23 to 29 March 2026, the odd-even scheme will also be enforced from the Semarang-Batang Toll Road at KM 414 towards the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road at KM 47, as well as from the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road at KM 98 towards KM 31.
