Traffic Management Implemented Around Latumen ten in West Jakarta Until June 5; Here Are the Diversions

The Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta has implemented traffic management around the Latumeten flyover project in West Jakarta, as erection of girders begins. The erection girder phase involves lifting and installing precast concrete girders that form the main structure of the Latumenten flyover.

Head of the Data and Information Centre (Pusdatin) of the Jakarta Bina Marga Service (Dinas Bina Marga) Siti Dinarwenny said the traffic management is implemented to support smooth work and to safeguard road users during the project.

“We urge the public to adjust travel times and to comply with road signs and directions from on-site officers,” Siti said in Jakarta on Thursday (21/5/2026), quoted from Antara.

She explained that the erection work on the western side of Latumenten Street will be carried out from 18-26 May 2026, from 22:00 to 04:00 WIB.

Meanwhile, work on the eastern side of Makaliwe Raya is scheduled to run from 29 May to 5 June 2026, at the same hours, 22:00-04:00 WIB.

“Siti Dinarwenny emphasised that all stages of the Latumenten flyover construction will proceed in line with safety standards and the scheduled timeline.”

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused during the works,” she said.

Moreover, the project is expected to support the area’s economic growth through more efficient accessibility. “The flyover will also facilitate transfers between transport modes with TOD at Grogol Station, with Halte Transjakarta or Jaklingko, or other public transport,” Siti said.
