Traffic jam to and from airport
Traffic jam to and from airport
From Bisnis Indonesia
Traffic jams on turnpikes, especially during the rush hours,
are a common sight. We get used to such a situation and then
forget about it as if it were something normal. We sometimes find
ourselves asking when will we be able to cruise comfortably along
the turnpikes,
It is said that traffic jams are attributable to the large
number of vehicles on the roads nowadays. That makes sense, even
though there must be something that can be done to overcome this
problem. This should be the duty of the turnpike management.
But, is it tolerable if traffic jams occur as the result of
mismanagement? This is the case on the turnpike to Jakarta
international airport.
The construction of a road/bridge has disrupted the traffic
flow causing severe congestion at the site. This is something
irritating, harmful and even embarrassing. I suggest that a
temporary road be built as a substitute for the one under repair.
