Traffic flow on Cipali Toll Road eases on H-5 Lebaran holiday

Subang – Traffic flow across the entire Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) Toll Road eased and remained orderly on Monday, H-5 before the Lebaran holiday.

The Sustainability Management & Corporate Communications Department Head of Astra Tol Cipali, Ardam Rafif Trisilo, stated in Subang, West Java, on Monday, that traffic flow had decreased compared with the previous day.

According to Astra Tol Cipali’s records, from midnight until 09:00 on H-5 Lebaran, approximately 19,000 vehicles travelled the Cipali toll road from Cikopo towards Cirebon. This volume was 18 per cent lower than the volume recorded during the same period the previous day.

Overall, Trisilo noted that on Monday morning, traffic volume on the Cipali toll road was 12 per cent lower than the volume at the same time the previous day.

Astra Tol Cipali urged road users to ensure both driver fitness and vehicle condition were optimal. The toll operator also urged holidaymakers to make reasonable use of rest areas and services without lingering excessively, thereby preventing vehicle accumulation at rest areas or on the toll road during periods of high traffic volume.
