Traffic Flow on Cipali Toll Road Declines at Five Days Before Eid 2026
CIREBON – As the fifth day before Eid al-Fitr 2026 approaches, traffic flow heading towards Cirebon on the toll road has shown a declining trend and is flowing smoothly, on Monday (16 March 2026). Vehicle users are urged to pay attention to their physical condition and vehicle maintenance.
Ardam Rafif Trisilo, Head of Sustainability Management & Corporate Communications at Cipali Toll Road, stated that between 00:00 and 09:00 (Western Indonesian Time), approximately 19,000 vehicles passed through Cikopo heading towards Cirebon.
“This traffic volume is 18 per cent lower than the volume recorded during the same hours yesterday,” said Ardam on Monday (16 March 2026).
In the opposite direction, approximately 8,000 vehicles passed through Cikopo heading towards Jakarta. Overall, traffic volume on the Cipali toll road section was monitored at 12 per cent lower than the volume recorded during the same hours the previous day.
He stated that for the sake of collective safety and to prevent traffic congestion, Astra Cipali toll operators appealed to road users to prepare themselves and their vehicles in prime condition. If drivers felt fatigued, they were urged to rest and not force themselves to drive.
“We ask all road users not to use the road shoulder except in emergency situations,” he said.
