Traffic Engineering for Betawi Lebaran 2026 at Lapangan Banteng Field

The Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) has officially implemented traffic engineering in the area around Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta. This measure is taken to support the smooth organisation of Lebaran Betawi 2026, which will run for three days from Friday (10/4) to Sunday (12/4).

Head of the Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, explained that traffic flow circulation has been prepared to anticipate vehicle density at crucial points.

“We have detailed alternative routes for the public who usually pass through the Lapangan Banteng area to maintain mobility during the event,” said Syafrin in Jakarta on Friday (10/4).

Lebaran Betawi 2026 this time carries the theme “Lebaran Betawi for Jakarta: Strengthening Unity in Preserving Traditions Towards a Global Jakarta City”. This event not only serves as a gathering for Jakarta residents but also as a stage for preserving Betawi culture amid Jakarta’s transformation into a global city.

The event is scheduled with the following time details:

Visitors will be treated to various interesting activities, from religious aspects such as recitations, maulid, and joint prayers, to iconic cultural attractions like ondel-ondel, tanjidor, silat, gambang kromong, and Betawi lenong. Not to be missed are layar tancep entertainment, traditional games, cultural carnivals, and typical Betawi culinary offerings to pamper the guests.
