Traffic Diverted Around State Palace for TNI-Polri Officer Inauguration

Traffic heading towards the State Palace in Jakarta was temporarily diverted on Wednesday morning as President Prabowo Subianto prepared to inaugurate new Indonesian Military (TNI) and National Police (Polri) officers. According to the Traffic Management Centre (TMC) of the Metro Jaya Regional Police, the traffic diversion on Jalan Veteran 3 began at 06:06 WIB. Police officers were deployed to manage the flow, and orange traffic barriers were installed to close off the road. Traffic around Jalan Djuanda and Jalan Veteran Raya was reported to be busy but flowing smoothly. Additionally, traffic at the Silang Monas Timur intersection was temporarily rerouted, with vehicles from Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur heading to Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara being diverted to Jalan Perwira. Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi previously stated that approximately 1,500 officer candidates were scheduled to be inaugurated at the ceremony.
